At the IEEE International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications Conference, the MECCPolimi team of the LAMBDA Lab (Laboratory of Measurements for Biomedical Applications) of Politecnico di Milano received multiple awards.
Our PhD student Leonardo Bianchi won a travel grant and the Best Student Paper Award, both thanks to his work regarding the measurement of thermal properties of biological tissues and tissue-mimicking phantom as function of temperature.
The research activities are carried out in the framework of the ERC LASER OPTIMAL project, which makes the topic of its doctoral studies, and it is also supported by Fondazione Cariplo.
