We are looking for applicants (students, postdocs, researchers) with a strong research potential, interested in investigating thermometry and predictive mathematical models of biomedical phenomena.
The research activities defined by the LASER OPTIMAL project focus on the development of a technological platform for laser ablation in cancer treatment, and in particular: physical simulations for treatment settings planning, nanoparticles-mediated laser ablation to improve the treatment selectivity, real-time monitoring of the thermal effects, intra-operative adjustment of the pre-planned settings.

Research Fellowship on HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGERY ALGORITHMS FOR THE PROCESSING OF MULTIMODAL DATA: APPLICATION IN THERMAL MONITORING
The Department of Mechanics of Politecnico di Milano funds a postdoctoral research fellowship on image processing and data science, in the framework of the project HyperSIGHT (code: R18SF4YHHS – CUP: D44I19005430001).
The successful candidate will work on the development of the real-time classification and monitoring and prediction of physiological, mechanical and thermal phenomena based on spectral imaging.
